So you have to disable Wayland in /etc/gdm/nf: WaylandEnablefalse And reboot before trying again. ![]() You will only see a blank screen or even flickering when connecting to a Steam host running on Wayland. The issue is not easily replicateable - I have had it happen once last night but never before and haven't been able to force it again. Steam Link Currently Steam Link does not work with Wayland. Right click on the process and select 'Open File Location' to confirm that it is the correct process - if an explorer window opens at then it is probably safe to terminate. If you run your task manager you should be able to see a small usuage process called 'run.exe' running under your credentials.
